About Us
Pyramid Teaching Partnership is a Lead Partner for initial teacher education (ITE). We are able to offer the right candidates a very local opportunity to train to teach via our postgraduate courses which we offer in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire.
The courses are based on the skills schools are looking for in early career teachers (ECT) and last for one year full-time, or two years part-time resulting in qualified teacher status (QTS), the award of a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) and 60 Master’s-level credits.
We have a programme for those training to teach in primary and secondary schools and we also have a programme in place for those who wish to train to teach in either 3-7 or 5-11 within the primary phase. Placements are offered in our own pyramid of schools across Central Bedfordshire.
